SERVICE AND SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR CLERK

Performs a variety of clerical duties to provide general administrative support to Service and Support Administration Department.

Performs duties and projects as assigned to meet the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Accreditation Standards, Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities rules and regulations.

Travels on site to perform job responsibilities.  Attends trainings as required to acquire and maintain credential and remain up-to-date on issues relative to completion of job responsibilities.  Visits homes of persons served and travels to community settings, agencies and other locations to perform essential duties.

Maintains and complies with confidentiality principles and standards.

Prepares, distributes, receives and files, forms and a variety of departments records.  Answers telephone calls and takes messages.  Prepares memos, reports, agendas, minutes, routine correspondence, programs, pamphlets flyers and other documents.

Coordinate and complete Intakes after eligibility is determined.

Analyzes referrals to screen to determine appropriateness of services provided by the agency, and as makes referrals to appropriate alternative resources as necessary.

Participates in required billing reimbursements systems such as TCM.  Bills Targeted Case Management [TCM] for Medicaid reimbursement of allowable services provided.

Coordinate trainings for providers and staff, and provide technical assistance and training to families as needed.  Assistance in maintaining provider reference manual.

Assists with maintaining waiting list and completing waiting list assessments.

Tracks SSA productivity report

SSA file reviews

Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

LICENSE, REGISTRATION OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Completion of an Associate’s Degree.

Employee is required to obtain First Aid, CPR and CPI certifications within 90 days following the start of employment and is required to obtain and maintain other required trainings and certification in accordance with Board policy and applicable state agency [such as ODDD and ODH] requirements.

Employee must possess (at time of hire) and maintain throughout the course of employment a valid Ohio motor vehicle operator’s license,   SSA Certification, and a satisfactory BCII check.

Typical Monday - Friday 20 hours, flexible schedule, occasional nights and weekends
